As an independent student production, "Alyce in Wonderland" receives $200 from the Department of Dance and Theatre for materials. Anyone with the knowledge of the designs for this show could tell you -- $200 isn't even a dent in the costs behind this production.

Our next step are grants...which are not a guareenteed thing; and, while we have applied for a number of them, nothing says we will actually receive anything.

Then there is the money we, as poor college theatre students, can spare out of our pockets to help with the production. It's safe to say this show will be built on blood, sweat, tears...and lots of plasma...lots and lots of plasma...

This is why help from you -- the community at large -- is our greatest asset.

In considering a donation to The Alyce Project, are you concerned that your hard earned money might not be going to a good cause -- say the building and production of an original work -- but to some college student's drinking or drug problem?

Have no fear! Donations made to the project are just for that -- The Alyce Project. We are a very serious organization with one goal -- to stage a play using the talents of many budding artists. All monatary donations go to costs found in the production including (but not limited to):

  • costuming materials
  • scenic construction materials
  • puppetry materials
  • theatre rental fees
  • publicity fees
  • and so much more...
